I`ve spent the last two weeks converting my rotary table to cnc. I used it for the first time cutting a wheel this evening and have to say it was very much worth it!
I`m really impressed so far with this build Craig, We really should set up the BritishClockmakersClub.org!
I have been working wednesday evenings and all day saturdays. Its a bit more time than I can afford, Im not getting my laundry done! I feel the pressures off now though - the lights at the end of the tunnel, even though I have the dial and case to make at least my movement will be ticking and striking happily away soon.
I'm following your cnc progress. I think it's a good idea to do what you are doing in order to make the division plates. I could do with more plates.. But I like using division plates its simple to rig up on the lathe.
I wonder how many people we can attract to our guild!?
You`ve been woking hard I see, Craig.
