It looks wonderful work. His blog does not seem to be updated with any progress. Is it possible to ask him to update it, I`d be really interested in his progress!
Also, how do you manage to have friends who build clocks? I have only managed to find you on the entire internet who is currently building a clock! I know in some areas they have clock building groups, are you a member of any here in the UK?
Hi Craynerd, His blog is brand new. I'll encourage him to keep it progressing. He has lots of unfinished projects the lyre clock is just one of them... He is a Fred Dibnah type.. can do anything and knows everything! :) He is a retired engineer and I use him as tutor and mentor more than anything else. I would like to start a clock club.. Do you have any thoughts on how we can organise one?
Hi Craig, it sounds like an excellent idea. What about a simple website to join people a little like a forum but UK based only. That way we could organise UK meets and such. I have met someone else that is local building a clock so I`m sure it would get a good attendance. Craig - please email me or send me your email. I`m sure we would have a lot of information and ideas to share: craynerd@crompton-house.oldham.sch.ukNOSPAM remove the Nospam.
